Job Title: Client Advisory Services Specialist – Accounting Paraprofessional
Position Overview: As a Client Advisory Services Specialist, you will play a vital role on our team by performing bookkeeping duties consistent with cash receipts and disbursements entry or bank feed matching, preparing journal entries, and maintaining asset capitalization and disposal records for our clientele. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering outstanding client service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and quarterly payroll and sales tax returns.
- Assist other team members with preparation of income tax returns by preparing workpapers, and reports with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare business personal property and business license reports.
- Conduct research and document well-supported conclusions to support decision-making processes.
- Perform accounting services and bookkeeping responsibilities for clients.
- Possess the ability to interface with clients independently.
- Offer suggestions for improvement in processes.
- Adhere to regulations and professional ethics set forth by the AICPA and the State Society.
